NOTES:                                                                                                                                                                    
1. Full delegate fee includes: Sunday reception, coffee breaks, 2 buffet lunches, admission to all technical sessions, Poster Session Wine and Cheese, book of abstracts, conference program, conference proceedings and delegate bag.

2. Single day fee includes: coffee breaks, lunch (if scheduled), book of abstracts, conference program, conference proceedings, admission to all technical sessions and Poster Session Wine and Cheese (Wednesday only).  

3. Student fee includes: coffee breaks, 2 lunches, admission to all technical sessions, book of abstracts, conference program and delegate bag.

4. Companions Program fee includes: Sunday reception, coffee breaks, Stanley Park Walk and Vancouver Aquarium with Lunch, Museum of Anthropology/UBC Gardens with Lunch

5. Poster Session Wine and Cheese is only included in the Full Delegate and the Single Day Wednesday registration fees        

6. Confirmed CIWEM members, Global Phosphate Forum members or Metro Vancouver employees will receive a 10% discount on full delegate and single day fees. 

7. Each accepted paper, in its final form for the Conference Proceedings, must be accompanied by a deposit of $200.00 CAD.  The deposit(s) made by the attendee for their paper(s) will subsequently be credited towards their Registration Fee.  The deposits are non-refundable, and are intended to offset the costs of producing and printing the Conference Proceedings.

8. Airfare is not included in the above tour prices for the Portland and Edmonton technical tours.  Airfare must be booked separately.  See Technical Tours for more information.


REGISTRATION METHODS
Registrations must be done by online.  Registrations over the telephone are not accepted.

REGISTRATION FEE PAYMENT
Payment of registration fees can be made by Visa, Mastercard, cheque/money order/bankdraft (drawn on a CDN Bank Account/payable to Conference), bank transfer. 

Registration forms not accompanied by appropriate payments as outlined below will NOT be honoured until full payment is received.

Cheque Payment Information
Cheques are to be made payable to International Conference on Nutrient Recovery from Wastewater Streams. Currency exchange charges or bank collection fees are the responsibility of the registrant. Please send your cheque along with a copy of your registration confirmation to:

GENERAL CONDITIONS OF REGISTRATION
1. It is expressly agreed that the members of the Organizing Committee and the Conference Secretariat for the International Conference on Nutrient Recovery from Wastewater Streams, their legal representatives, directors and employees, and their agents, officers and services, shall not be liable for any loss, injury or damage of any kind whatsoever suffered directly or indirectly by the person, possession or property of any Congress participant or other person during or in connection with the events on the program or any other activities of the International Conference on Nutrient Recovery from Wastewater Streams for any reason whatsoever no matter howsoever caused.
2. It is agreed that the Organizing Committee and the Secretariat for the International Conference on Nutrient Recovery from Wastewater Streams, and their agents and officers, reserve the right to cancel at any time any or all of the programmed or other activities if this should appear necessary as a result of events which are beyond their control or which they cannot reasonably be expected to influence or for which they are not responsible. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, such events shall include force majeure, government or other official regulations, natural disasters, strikes or any kind whatsoever, civil, international or other crises, or any other unforseen occurrence. Decisions regarding the necessity for such cancellation shall be taken by the Organizing Committee, or their agents, at their sole discretion and shall be final.

INSURANCE ** IMPORTANT **
Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that at the time you register for the International Conference on Nutrient Recovery from Wastewater Streams and book your travel you take out an insurance policy of your choice. The policy should include loss of fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the Conference, loss of international/domestic air fares through cancellation for any reason, loss of monies through cancellation for any reason including airline or related services strikes within Canada, failure to utilise pre booked arrangements due to airline delay, Force Majeure or any other reason, medical expenses, loss or damage to personal property, additional expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered. Venue West cannot take any responsibility for any participant failing to arrange their own insurance. This insurance is to be purchased in your country of origin.

CANCELLATION ** IMPORTANT **
Cancellations received in writing prior to April 10, 2009 will be refunded less a $75.00 CDN administration fee. No refunds will be issued after this date. Changes/cancellations will NOT be accepted by telephone. Please fax or mail any changes/cancellations to the Conference Secretariat.
